Standard 4.1 An adequate annual budget should be developed, allocated, provided to the instructor, and used for the operation of the program. Program budgets for the preceding two years must be available.

Cobb County School District sets a budget for Career and Technical Education program and is approved by the Cobb County Schools Board of Education. Standard 4.2 The budget should be prepared by the institutional administration with input from the program instructor.

Standard 4.3 Budget status reports pertaining to equipment and supplies should be available to the program instructor, at least bi-annually.

Inquiries regarding budget status reports can be requested through the local school bookkeeper. Department chair also keeps records of budget status reports. The County CTAE supervisor and the high school coordinator for Industry certification reviews applications for new and re-certification of programs.
